Hello everyone, I just thought I would write a few lines to say hello, I have just jumped in and started firing questions at you all which seems a bit rude. I thought I should say hello and introduce myself.

I'm 35 and have had this pain for about 10 years - ever since a run of urinary and vaginal infections way back when I was travelling in Bankok.

I finally got a diagnoses last year of …

Hi ladies,
It's very nice to meet other women who share this same issue. I have had vulvodynia for about 4 years now... I went off the pill about 2 years ago and it has significantly improved since then. About 6 months ago, my pain went away to almost nothing. Also, I was using lidocaine on and off and it helped a lot. Well I moved 2 months ago and that partner and I split up, so I have not had …

HOW I CURED MY VULVODYNIA

Fri May 04, 2012 12:44 am by ivyrose

Hello. Please read this, I want to help as many women as possible. One thing I have learned over the last 3 yrs suffering from this condition is NOT TO ACCEPT EVERYTHING YOUR DR TELLS YOU.

I posted on here a while ago claiming that I had experienced a large decrease in my provoked pain due to taking baking soda baths. Since then the pain came back with vengeance and I realised I was wrong. The …

Young and not sure how to handle this???

Sun May 06, 2012 6:08 am by cdt2010

Hello all! I normally do not get on these kind of things, but I don't know where else to turn. I have Lupus, which is what they say caused my vulvodynia. I have known about my vulvodynia for about six months and I have known about my Lupus for one year. I am twenty years old, and my family has no idea. I have tried everything I can think of. The gynocolgist (might not have spelled that right) did …

new to the forum, newly diagnosed

Tue Apr 03, 2012 10:22 pm by It Hurts

I've had such stinging pain at the insertion of anything in this area since August 2008. I was six and a half months pregnant and went to my OBGYN immediately and said, "something's wrong". Of course, it was blamed on the pregnancy and the "blood flow" to that area. I had a C-section (age 38 when I had my first and only daughter, Caroline) and waited the 2 months before …

I'm 30 years old and I'm from Croatia, Europe. Few weeks ago doctors told me that I have V. I have it for little bit more that 1 year. I think the triger was HPV infection.
I'm reading your posts and still I don't want to belive that there is no cure for V. I can't belive that the old nice life is over. I simply don't want to belive it. Especialy now when I have finaly found the love of my life.

cold laser therapy seems to be working

Post  Melissa777 on Tue Aug 23, 2011 9:46 pm

so some exciting news (except i had a slight flare up on L side that lasted a few days)
the cold laser therapy seems to be working.. Ive only had 3 so far
but almost all the RED areas are gone
and my right side is starting to feel NORMAL.

I am not sure if this therapy is avail where you live, but I know they make the laser my Chiropractor uses in Sweden. I live in USA

basically how the treatment works
doc sets up laser for me and leaves room
I undress waist down, lay on the table, and use a pillow under my hips
let the laser beams directly hit my areas that need to be improved on
and whalaaaa its working

at the same time i do acupuncture
take phellostatin and si miao wan

But dont take those supplements unless your diagnosed with damp heat in lower area

I also am doing candida diet
agrisept
coconut oil
mineral supplement
vit d-3
fem dophilus
and probiotic for vaginal support with no FOS from renew life

finally noticing improvement... thank you jesus

of course- and prayer and healing through prayer
so stay positive

Im not really using anything topical
i find most dont work
except maybe my estroil topical compunded cream.... but thats really just to thicken skin

That's great, I'm not sure if what I had done around my hips is the same thing but I used to have some for of treatment on the lumps of knotted tissue behind my hips and it was designed to break it up a bit and reduce inflammation. In my case the results were short lived but I never got rid of the perpetuating factors so it couldn't possibly last long. Good luck and keep us all posted.

Cold laser or Low laser therapy can work. There are many lasers out there.
It depends though on HOW deep the laser has to penetrate and how strong the laser is. There are all levels out there. My chiros laser was VERY expensive and a very strong one.
I used it in the past when I broke my toe- and it healed my broken toe in 2 weeks - normally broken toes take 6 weeks- a few months to heal.

here is the catch
if you have a lot of MUSCLE mass on the area your getting cold laser- it may not work... because the light can't penetrate through that as well.

But since its my Vulva- wow I noticed a difference in only a few short treatments. I need at least 12 treatments to see most improvement, i have had 4

I looked with my mirror- redness is almost all gone

NOW here is the thing if your VV is caused by possibly bacteria or yeast even if they can't diagnose it- this type of laser- at a strong strength will work.

Its proven to work on killing- hard to kill toe nail fungus.

and its also shown to calm down nerve endings...
so all and all its def working- but you have to do a LOT of treatments before seeing results

10th treatment and feel so much better

Post  Melissa777 on Mon Sep 05, 2011 1:20 am

So yesterday (Sat) was my 10th cold laser treatment. Guess what I feel and look so much better. In fact, I went in for a check up with my NP and she said I am not as RED or INFLAMED as I was in July. I can actually touch my vestibule area now without it really bothering me... and able to use tampons! =)

Also acupuncture and the herbal Phellostatin is def working. Im also doing Adya Clarity for heavy metal detox =)

Ill keep you all posted- but so far so good

I also ordered my free sample of neogyn, ill give it a try to see if it helps
Im not using my estra cream as much anymore

=) yaya
